THERE'S MUCH TO like about the All Conditions AM. It's one of the more aggressively-treated tyres here, prioritising traction on loose or soft ground over easy rolling. There are no ramps on the widely-spaced centre blocks, which whirr and drag a bit on hard surfaces. The AC makes up for it when the going gets looser, with the big, angular knobs digging in a treat.
The tread is constructed with the same 'stacked compound' arrangement as the other CG tyres, with soft rubber inside helping the knobs to deform around roots and rocks and a skin of harder rubber on the outside boosting durability.
