I like to spray a bit of this silicone lube on the fork stanchions before every ride to reduce stiction, especially if the fork has been sitting around for a couple of days. If I give the fork a few squidges, I can see dirt pushed up on the upper tubes. I also spray some on the rear shock and it's great for keeping a ride-height-adjustable seatpost running smoothly.
