This is a big barrel shaped bucket of a light that mounts easily and runs for hours - and potentially weeks. Visibility from all angles is superb, so it does the job it's meant to brilliantly (quite literally). It takes two AA batteries that are easy and quick to replace, and kicks out a mighty impressive spread of light.
