What is the best way to clean out a reservoir?
A:
There are 2 methods that you can use.
(i) Using CamelBak's reservoir and tubing brushes, clean the unit out with some mild soap / washing up liquid and warm water. Once clean, rinse through with clean cold water and then dry out the reservoir with kitchen paper as required. Remove the bite valve and lock to allow air to completely pass through the system to completely dry out the unit if it is to be stored for an extended period of time. The majority of CamelBak's Antidote reservoirs include integrated dryer arms to assist in this process. The dryer sarms are also available separately as part of the Antidote Cleaning Kit.
(ii) For a deep cleanse, follow the instructions as above but prior to rinsing, drop in a CamelBak cleaning tablet. Add 1 litre of water, shake up the reservoir and leave for 5 minutes. Empty the reservoir, rinse through and dry as before.Cleaning tablets are also available separately in packs of 8 (CB60061).

What is the best way to clean out a CamelBak bottle?
A:
All CamelBak bottles can be washed in a dishwasher. Where possible, please place the cap / bite / valve and straw on the upper rack. A bottle brush kit is also available - CB190774 - , which includes a narrow brush for cleaning out bite valves as required ( not for use on the Podium bottle's Jet valve ).

Can I buy replacement reservoir tubing?
A:
Yes, replacement Pureflow tubing is available in a 38" length - CB90768.
Q:
How well insulated are the winter specific systems?
A:
The winter-specific back mounted systems feature an insulated ‘Therminator Harness'. The tubing is covered with an insulating sleeve and is then totally zipped into the right hand harness for added freeze resistance in extreme conditions. Please note that this system offers freeze resistance; it is not possible to ensure that it will not freeze dependent upon the prevailing conditions.

Can I buy a replacement reservoir?
A:
A. Yes. Antidote reservoirs are available in the following sizes: 1.5litre, 2.0litre, 3.0litre. All replacement Antidote reservoirs include the Quick Link system and integrated dryer arms.
B. At the present time, Omega reservoirs are also available in 2.0litre and 3.0litre sizes.
