Ergonomics that fit!
Holding, steering and braking are the most important tasks a grip must facilitate with comfort. Only a grip that fits the hand perfectly can fulfill this task. During pressure measurements at the contact point between the inside hand surface and the handlebar grip, pressure at the outside is highest. This is exactly the point where the ulna nerve is positioned. This nerve is responsible for sensitivity of the ring and little fingers. SQlab increased the contact area at this point and, in so doing, reduced the pressure.
The size of the wing is constructed to reduce pressure on the ulna nerve while allowing maximum control of the bike. Notice the front and bottom of the grip ore square cut and fit the fingers perfectly. The locking system is light weight and engineered in Germany.
